Congratulations to Alex Munoz, who tied for Best High School Teacher this year in the East Valley Tributes Best of Mesa 2023 issue! Senor Munoz is retiring this year, and we love that he was able to be honored in this way after having such a positive impact on our campus. He is quoted in the article as saying, "I believe that education is a powerful tool that can transform lives, and I'm passionate about helping my students unlock their full potential. For me, teaching is more than just a job, it's an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of my students by finding their unique needs, strengths and challenges, then helping them shape their future and the world they will live in."
Our mountain lion mascot also won in the Best Mascot category, beating out that school down the street. #battleonbrownroad
