RM Senior Kodi Emerson was one of five students selected from a national pool of applicants for the University of Arizona's Accelerated Pathway for Medical Education (APME) program. Kodi will complete three years of undergraduate studies and have guaranteed conditional admission to the College of Medicine - Tucson based on successfully completing prerequisites.
The Accelerated Pathway to Medical Education is a combination undergraduate-graduate program that will take a student seven years to complete and will result in an MD degree upon graduation.
