CTE Internships at Red Mountain

Internships provide a structured work-based experience for qualified seniors.  Job placement assistance will be provided if needed by the CTE Career Coaches.  It is the responsibility of the student to ensure requirements are completed and documents submitted in a timely manner.

To be considered for the Internship program, students must:

  • Have completed one credit in a CTE Program of Study 

  • Be a senior in the 24-25 School Year

  • Be in good standing academically and on track to graduate

  • Be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week for the academic school year 

  • Have their own transportation

And submit:

  • Student Application 

  • Two teacher recommendation forms (one must be from a CTE teacher) 

  • An unofficial transcript 

Applications must be submitted by February 29th, 2024 for the 2024-25 school year. 

The CTE Career Coaches will notify students if they are accepted into the program after the application and teacher recommendations have been submitted.  To be accepted into the program, the student and parent/guardian must attend an informational meeting on April 22, 2024. The CTE Career Coaches will notify the student of dates, times, and additional required paperwork via email.
